Contemporary Ribbon Jewelry

If you are looking for movement, elegance and modernity, this is what you will get with this technique. Simple and infinitely variable, this technique allows the creation of rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings or brooches with innovative and sculptural shapes. Requiring little material, it is easy to set up. This workshop will cover which clays to use for this technique, how to sublimate a ribbon of clay, how to create movement with the ribbon. I will detail how to make different designs of rings made entirely of polymer clay (simple, textured, double...) as well as a bracelet whose secret of fabrication consists in a baking tip.

Coil Connectors and Wing-Beads

A fun technique to connect beads of polymer clay or other materials together to form bigger objects. This is a very useful technique that is easy to vary and that you can easily develop to suit your own style. Coil connectors are about creating optical lines that guide the viewer's eye around your piece. Wing beads are a variant of coil connectors, which means that narrow beads made of polymer clay get a fixed mutual placement that you can use to emphasize or complement a larger focus bead.

Light Up Your City!!

In this workshop we make a lantern, as simple as possible. The idea started from the fact that nothing is as it really seems. A very simple object under circumstances can be transformed into something very interesting and impressive. We play with shadows, light and darkness. Something very simple in appearance can upset your vision when given the opportunity to bring out its dynamic.
